- Image cache: Clothing photos are cached to reduce data usage and improve load times
- Offline queue: Actions performed offline are stored locally until network connection is restored
- Service Worker cache: App assets are cached for faster subsequent visits and PWA functionality
3.3 Preference Storage
These remember your choices and customizations:
- Theme preferences: Dark mode, wallpaper, and color scheme settings
- Notification settings: Your push notification and digest email preferences
- Display preferences: Grid view, list view, and sort order preferences
- Digest preferences: Email backup frequency and content preferences
3.4 Third-Party Storage
We integrate with third-party services that may use their own storage mechanisms:
- Supabase: Authentication and database services - stores session tokens for secure access
- OneSignal: Push notification service - stores a player ID to deliver notifications to your device
- hCaptcha: Security verification service - may use temporary cookies to verify you're human
4. AI and Machine Learning
Saucee uses AI-powered features to enhance your experience. We store:
- Style preferences: Your clothing choices and ratings to improve outfit recommendations
- ML profile data: Aggregated preference scores stored in our secure database (not on your device)
AI processing is performed on our servers using OpenAI's APIs. No AI models or training data are stored on your device.
5. In-App Purchase Data
For subscription and purchase functionality:
- Transaction tokens: Temporary session storage to process purchases securely
- Subscription status: Cached locally to prevent unnecessary server calls
Payment processing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not store payment card information.
6. How Long Is Data Stored?

7.1 Browser/App Settings

- On mobile: Settings → Apps → Saucee → Clear Data/Cache
- Use private/incognito browsing mode (note: app functionality may be limited)
7.2 In-App Options
- Manage notification preferences in Settings → Notifications
- Request data export in Settings → Data Management
- Delete your account and all associated data in Settings → Account
7.3 Impact of Disabling Storage
Please note that disabling cookies and local storage may affect app functionality:
- You may need to log in each time you visit
- Your preferences will not be remembered
- Offline functionality will not work
- App performance may be slower
8. Do Not Track
Saucee respects "Do Not Track" signals. We do not engage in behavioral tracking across third-party websites. Our analytics are limited to understanding how you use features within our app to improve your experience.
9. Children's Privacy
Saucee is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.
10. Updates to This Policy
